What is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual method of depositing a small amount of pigment in the outer layer of the skin without reaching the epidermis skin. It allows to construct natural looking eyebrows for people with very little, over plucked or no brows hairs. It is minimally invasive and has very little down time!

Microblading lasts 12-18 months based on environmental factors like sun exposure, your skin type etc. It’s not permanent, but semi-permanent.

Semi Permanent Make Up

Semi permanent is ideal for covering gaps, defining shape, creating an arch or filling in the brows. The needle used in manual Microblading is three times thinner than the one used in a machine, which allows to create very crisp, fine strokes.

How does Microblading different from Permanent Make-up/Tattoo?

Permanent Make-up is a true tattoo. The pigments are applied to a deeper layer of skin using a machine, which is why they are permanent.

Unlike Semi-Permanent/Microbladed brows fade completely from the skin after a period of time.

Microblading step procedure

STEP 1

The first step to getting the brows of your desired look will involve an initial consultation with your brow tech specialist. Your specialist will look at your natural brows, so make sure NO MAKE UP on your BROWS when you attend your consultation. Your brow tech specialist will analyse your brow size, shape, and thickness, as well as your skin type to determine whether you are a better candidate for Microblading or combo brows, which is a combination of Microblading and Microshading.

STEP 2

Your makeup technician artist begins the session by measuring your face and draw out the shape on both eyebrows and draw your new brows desired.Technician then remove excess hair and determine the right pigment colour for your brows.

STEP 3

When you come in for your session the first thing our Microblading Tech artist will do is use a strong numbing cream and leave it for approximately 30 mins. This cream makes the process virtually pain-free. The importance of this is to make sure you are 100 percent comfortable throughout the procedure.
